Now lets see what these do for you; firstly fine furniture wood mixed with rough wood ...

... then I tried some rough wood paisley ...

... maybe should have put it in Anmal's paisley thread; miss her contributions in this this forum.

Issabella, your dancer brought a childhood memory. When I was six I had an obsession with castanets. I remember as if it were happening right now. It was a spring Saturday afternoon and my Dad took me for a ride, parked the car, took me by the hand and we walked into a music shop. There under the glass counter were the most beautiful castanets. Dad bought them for me. My father passed away in 1980 - it is 2016 and I still have those beautiful castanets but it's the memory of that day with the first man I ever loved that brings a smile to my face, a tear to my eye and a yearning to my heart.

I tried to replicate them here with alpha shine but my real ones are priceless.
