Wow, all these woods are beautiful. I finally got around to trying the beautify shine. I cut a piece out of the wood texture that PM made the tutorial on, beveled the edges, and shined! So, here I have learned two things in one picture...wood paneling and the shine filter.

Optical illusion...when I look at the "carving" up close, it looks carved in, when I look from farther back, it looks bumped up! I don't have enough knowledge of lighting to know why!

Issabella, beautiful images! I must attempt one of these again when I find one that I can do.

2-Ton: I see what you mean. I do not know enough about it to explain it either.

I did this horse in glass before. I wondered how it would look in wood.

Thank you so much girls, Dalia, 2-ton and Pat. 2-ton, I see your two possibilities in carving and it happens to me, too. But both ways of seeing it are great. :coolthup
Pat, your horse is beautiful and you got a very pretty result. :bigthup :coolthup

Pat625 - firstly the ocen wood pic was just a quickie using Dinassets 'indexed' approach; just 8 colours.

Pat - your prancing horse is outstanding :jumpclap

Issabella - wow wow wow beach lady and horses head in wood ... so good so good :jumpclap
