GIMP Version: 2.8.14
Operating System: Linux
GIMP Experience: Basic Level


On return from holidays I had to do a complete re-install of Ubuntu.

I have re-installed XnView MP, but cannot remember how to configure "open with" so that I can transfer files direct to Gimp.
Many hours scouring the net without success - I am obviously not asking the correct question.

Any help greatly appreciated.

Tools -> Open with -> Configure Programs
In the Configure programs dialog click on Add
Browse Computer for usr/bin/gimp and click open

It was the usr/bin/gimp part that I couldn't remember.
