Thanks Molly. I'll have some more brushes soon based on crosses. No filters this time, just paths.

I don't often do whole tutorials but will pick out one small part that is an effect I want to learn and just do that part...I also tend to not save these small exercises as they are just practices...but I bet a lot more people actually do use the tutorials or parts of the tutorials than anyone knows.

Don't give up Drac. You got me obsessed with metal. How many others wouldn't be able to create what they like without these tutorials. Even if only one person does these, that's somebody who can go away happy that they've learned a new skill. Isn't that worth it?

It's not about giving up at all. Just stating facts. Diddn't mean to come across as a whine, so I posted it.

Only if you agree to go for a ride in my bathysphere with me and Iggy. Iggy likes looking out the window.

Mike - :hehe That's pretty good. Looks like an Oscar. I also like the way you did your gloss and highlights.

alc59 - That is some impressive work! How did you do the 3D sphere/ring stuff, Mathmap?

alc59: :jumpclap :jumpclap :jumpclap :jumpclap :jumpclap :jumpclap :jumpclap :jumpclap :jumpclap :jumpclap :jumpclap :jumpclap :jumpclap :jumpclap rings!!! that's soo cool! the sphere too, but the rings is what i really like, as the jewellery maker i am. the one with the hole pattern looks very credible, you could show it as a sketch to a jeweller and they'd know exactly how to make it for real.
