Sorry Wallace. I removed all previous versions except for 1.4 which is available in the first post. I thought I had removed all the other attachment notices. Looks like I missed one.

Nice results folks! And thank you Issabella for your kind remarks. It is a fun filter. I bet that bird would look extra special with a feather pattern with transparency.. :)

Thank you Odin & Issabella for your comments. Kimba I like your name done in this script.
Issabella, yours is colorful, precise as usual. Might try the feather pattern.

Such beautiful results!

I must be doing something wrong... when mine is finished, all that shows is my shadow layer, all filled in with my shadow color, and nothing else.... I used a 2000 x 1500 canvas with a white background color, and made the text sized 600 in black, then chose my pattern and the mask pattern (with transparency - it's one of the ones I downloaded from page 1)... and all I get is a rectangle filled with my shadow color.....

:(

Here you go. I created this feather pattern for you with a little help from the "Clone Layer Tool" :bigthup . :)

Image

With the actual feather below you can create your own alpha feather patterns. :clap
The one i created may be too big for what you need. I suppose you could always scale it down though.

Thank you Rod! I'm not sure how to go about this with the dove image. Have to think about it some more. Thank you again!
