Its been very wet across south eastern Australia this winter, there are floods in many places, Graechan's town has received 100 year record rain, its still raining hard and more is promised.

But its not just the farmers who suffer ... in South Australia this very soggy koala is seeking refuge from the floods ...

Wow; sorry to here you folk down under are getting so much rain, OMG. Wish you, Graechan and all the aussies and others living in your neck of the woods better weather.

I saw a video of the Mitcham reserve's creek (Brown Hill creek) flooded yesterday and it is lucky to usually have a trickle of water in it. I will try to post it when I find it again.

I'm assuming you will only be-able to see this if you have facebook, then again I could be wrong. Was only taken yesterday and is not on YouTube yet.

Still feeling sad for our bush farmers; I was at Fobes last week and it was certainly wet. Now record river levels (10.6 metres tomorrow) at Forbes are predicted with forced evacuations) and more heavy rain forecast ...

Has stopped here for the time being but we are to expect some more during next week.
