none, she simply didn't find the entry in her gimp menu
she wrote today:
"Actually, it was called gimp-plugin-python..."
then she experimented it

I have some plugins in my Linux repository that are separate from the gimp installation... why, I don't know. Anyway... I couldn't find anything in my GIMP that was called "warp" but when I installed the package called gimp-plugin-python, then Reflect on Ponds showed up and worked. There is a Filters > Map > Warp... but it was there before, so I don't know what's in that package that made the difference.

Thanks!

maybe it's the necessary extension to run all gimp python plug-ins

Warp is part of GIMPs default install. "warp.exe" it is in GIMPs install directory plug-ins folder GIMP 2/lib/gimp/2.0/plug-ins
Weird you had to add that plug-in. I thought Linux was python dependent already. We used to have to add python support to GIMP for Windows but GIMP install for Windows now includes it. Well happy to hear it's working for you now anyways. :)

I don't think so as this is the first one I've had any trouble with... however, I did reinstall my system not too long ago (changing from 32-bit to 64-bit), but I've used several of your excellent plugins since then. I have no idea if that is a separate one only in Linux, or maybe it corrected something that I didn't know was broken!!! :lol Anyway, it works on both computers I use regularly now, so I'm happy again! :pengy

Thanks to you both!
