Got Bored so I did this.
Original:Image
http://christianhomekeeper.org/blog/im-loving-autumn/
Mine: Image
PC's Graphic Novel, and then some Airbrushing and Paint brushing for The Lighting

I would have spoiled this normally, but I am not sure if you guys want that now.

Might do one of these for AOTM, just with some crazy Stock and do a ton more editing, this was a first time thing.

It's impressionistic, so as long as it's what you want, there is nothing to improve.

Still anything you think you see to improve it in your eyes?
I am pretty bored and would be willing to make changes

not being very imaginative, the only thing I can think of to try out is to up the saturation to see how it might look.

Hope you don't mind a play Willy. FXFoundry Bercovich Lomo, G'MIC Tone Mapping, and Wavelet Decompose degrunging for added surreal effect. :)

Took my last effort, and dup (total of 3 layers), ran G'MIC's Tone map (w/ tweaked settings) and set that result to Grain Extract and merged down and then set the result to Grain Merge for this result. :)

Willy, your change certainly gave more depth to the image. I like what you did.

Lyle, nice!

Appreciate the comments O; definitely helps to have a beautiful capture to start off with. Not my images so not showing, but all those captures that Willy linked are some of the best I've seen in the Landscape genre and really gave good rendered results like the one shown on my earlier attempt (didn't keep them; only rendered to fine tune the technique and believe I now have a flow and look forward to future opportunities though they will more then likely be on other forums since no one here shares for play that often and I'm a retoucher {not a photographer}). :)

That wasn't my capture to begin with if anyone was thinking that, I just googled Forest and that came up, loved it and went with it.
I hope I didn't do something wrong :(

Whoops; didn't look at the name (need to read better). lol

Won't remove the result though unless the original photographer desires that. Yeah, I try not to use images unless they gave permission. I like the Free Photos Index since all these captures are permission given. I also like using Stock Exchange (requires membership) but not all images are free. :)
