Installing Mac iso Yosemite on Virtual Box

Is it possible? There is some software i would like to use but it's only available for Mac.
I already have Virtual Box installed.

Rod,

I have successfully installed Windows operating systems into
Virtual Box environment several times.

I have never attempted to install Apple operating systems
into Virtual Box but perhaps the following links to various

Not sure if it's possible unless you already have a MAC, Rod. Recall reading that somewhere but not sure. I do know you can set up a MAC VM but I don't have a MAC installer CD to try to actually install any of the various MAC flavors.

you would have to find someone who could make a boot disk for you. I personally have the where with all to do that and may still have the software as I usually keep a copy of the new OS when it becomes available. Otherwise you would have to download it from the Apple website.
Just had a look and do have an installer for Yosemite and could make a boot disk on a USB stick if you need one and post it to you.

I have an ISO file and found a couple YouTube vids I will try tomorrow. If it works I will post a tutorial on how to do this. Thanks folks.

Got the Mac on VMWARE. Version 1o.11 El Capitan. BUT...
because i only have 4 gigs of ram i can only give half to the Mac virtual machine. SO it doesn't download files very fast at all.
I even tried to get it from the app store but it said there was a server issue trying to download. The internet works very well and fast. Mouse is also very smooth at full screen. So i know it's not an internet connection problem. I actually played chess against myself with the animated default installed 3D game and it is also very responsive. Just downloads are a problem. Is there an alternate downloader for Mac?
I do have the DMG file i need to install in mac as i downloaded the file through Windows but how do i get it into the actual Mac files from Windows?

Any help is appreciated. Thanks!
