I really like those images, Dinasset. Are the newsprint and embossed mosaic filters available?

dinasset · **Posted:** Sun Nov 20, 2016 12:40 am **(#130)**

They are standard GIMP filters, Pat:
- under FILTERS/DISTORTS
What I called embossed mosaic is a combination of Mosaic and Emboss filters

Dinasset, those images under your hand are really beautiful. I like them a lot. You know how to use the right filter on images. :clap

Those are all very nice, Dinasset. I like them. Did you do other improvements besides emboss of the main subject?

dinasset · **Posted:** Sun Nov 20, 2016 2:50 pm **(#135)**

Yes, Pat.
Before Emboss I did a preliminary selective gaussian blur (to reduce noise) followed by unsharp mask (to improve major details)
Added also some colour, because Emboss reduces the colour

Issabella · **Posted:** Sun Nov 20, 2016 3:49 pm **(#136)**

Wow! Superb images Dinasset. I really love the result you get on them. :clap
