I got this result trying your advice. Sorry if I don't get to have good results how it's difficult to understand in English everything correctly. Brian if you don't see it right and have some spare time, it would help a lot if you took some capture from the settings and images. Thank you so much.

Still working on the program. Not quite there.
Here are a couple of newer examples with V2 and V2c
Wish I had a pet monkey to pull my hair out for me LOL...

When I receive the 'plasma' blooms that are my goal, there
will still be a lot of user interfacing with brightness/contrast,
colorize and select by color/delete and layer intensities to
produce the best outcomes.

(Issabella, I will make a tutorial. It is not time yet (until
I stop changing everything)).

I was quite excited by the result, however even
when exactly duplicating the steps, the effect
has not been achieved on any other subject so far.
So I am still at the 'drawing' board for now, but
with some hope.

Told before, Brian that the trick is to extract then use solidy. You wil then get consistent extruding bolts. It's all about the gradient transitions so if you don't want to do the step mentioned, you have to pick an image that has a lot of bokeh.

When I extract, I have not been feathering.
That may be some of the issue.
