Well I've been doing minor projects here and there like a calculator, stop watch, pixel editor, text editor, etc: etc: in JavaScript, and/or JQuery, and I decided after seeing another web OS today I decided I'd like to make one just for fun. So you guys will see what has been added, what I'm working on, etc: etc: in this topic. I'm going to use HTML, CSS, and JQuery when developing this. Most likely I'll implement PHP with it later on, if you wanna develop software for the app just hit me up via pm, and I'll see what I can do.

You are like an energizer bunny! I'm amazed at how much you are able to teach yourself!

I like to do things myself, If I see something and I know I can do it, or want to do it, then I try to do so. Almost everything I learned myself being self taught from video production, web development, and then to software development. (graphic design it's here, and there though)

Spent a couple hours thinking of how I wanted it designed, and drew a couple templates, but this is just a mock-up right now. I might have the software listed below with arrows to navigate threw it, but I'm thinking Accessories, Games, Drawing, Internet, Office, and System.

All made by me, no stocks except the world one, which I'm gonna change later on I just have it there to remember the order in which I want everything at.

I used to full around with v basic and create small apps.Cards for my wife on valentines day and an how old is your dog in human years if your dog is this many years old.

I used to play this online game called Earth 2025.In the game you have to grab other peoples land to survive.
I created an app that calculated how many planes, troops, and tanks you should send to get minimum losses and maximum land gains... :rofl

Good luck with your setup Mike. :coolthup

I would love to learn how to make iPhone apps! I don't suppose there is an easy way to do that.

Better you then me Mike. I hated programming in college and then little I had to do when I was an EE. I'm a hardware guy (but mechanical I'm not; talking passive and chip level stuff). Hope you get you new OS worked out soon. Maybe you can Open Source it too (lot's of cool online OS's already out there. Played with one of them a few months ago). :)

Thanks, and Pal is I think 16, and Buddy is 14, and Buddy still acts like a Puppy. Our animals usually die around 20 or 24.

QT Creator makes it easy to make programs for not just your regular OS, but also phone apps like the iPhone or Android for example, and also some Nokia phones I don't don't remember what kind. (Must know C++ when getting started with QT Creator though)

It depends for being open source, cause if I can connect to my database on the site from my sisters account without the need of a password, I'm not going to be having it open source, just for safety precautions. I'll most likely have it open source though, but I'll rewrite the code so people don't try and steal the whole thing, and claim it as their own.

Site has a nice color scheme and design to it though.

Thanks, it was coded in JavaScript, not Java.

Also if your browsers fast it'll be fast, if it's slow it'll be slow, cause the engine and everything is actually your own browsers except all this does is do it I wanna say virtually, but well you can take a look at the source just press CTRL+U when viewing the cloud based web browser here.
