"And I saw ...", is one of the expressions in the book of Revelation. highlights the importance of what the apostle is below. In this case one of the 4 living creatures delivering the 7 bowls of wrath of God. This image comes from Revelation and Revelation 15: 5-7.

UPDATED July 11. FINAL IMAGE

I put some pictures of how it is becoming, to see what you think. As usual, I'm working with Gimp Paint Studio (GPS) 1.5. And so the way I see how it works in a real project as a field test.
The first draft was very fast, only to get ideas for how I wanted the look of the lion. It could not be a lion either, so the "alienicé" a little but not convince me, so I let him more like a lion humanized. Change equal to the final again. We must never be afraid to change things, erase and start over. The sketch is just that.

Something that I especially useful is slightly shaded volumes to get an idea of how will the enlightenment. trial and error again, and if we are not convinced ... erase and redo.

Ant this is a wip showing an overall view.

You're welcome.

Are you asking if I PMed Photocomix? PM stands for PhotoMaster (Greg).

I bookmarked your website the last time I visited. I accidentally mistook you for a spammer on my blog, when you left a comment on the gradients. (Sorry about that!) It wasn't until Photocomix informed me you were part of GPS, I realized you weren't a spammer. Hehehe... (Again, sorry about that!) :)

I am absolutely astounded. The detail on the feathers is wonderful and the fur is beautiful. The hands are so lifelike. It is an altogether emotionally moving image.

I can't possibly give you any advise. To me the feathers looks like real feather and the hair/fur looks beautiful and shiny.

The expression on his face looks so strong. You're so talented. :)

I am glad that you see an emotional piece in it because this is my intention too , motivate the viewer to think about what he see.
