Still going 3 hours later.
I rarely get up before 6. This started before 6am and still going after 9am. No one home - I was told the place has been bought for use as a B & B (Bed & Breakfast). Hopefully the property trust can do something about it :hoh

I've spent time at many, many B&Bs and have never seen one with an alarm system (other than a fire alarm).
That would kill the mood of a B&B to have some type of alarm!

Really would.
I think it is more of a security thing. No one there at the moment. By the way, hopefully it is about to be turned off.

Was coming from inside the flat. I wonder if someone left something on and that set it off?
It's finally off after five hours.
Apparently it was an alarm clock (sounded more like a car alarm).

That must have been quite annoying.
I can't believe it was an "alarm clock".

Me either. Was like a busy signal on a phone line only louder.

I have a very quiet musical alarm [springtime memories] on my mobile phone, and it wakes me as soon as it goes off and I sleep heavy too. Land lady also told me they have removed it now.
