Thank you Dinasset!
Isolated the duck with lasso tool.
Ran with dark smokey borders option on the duck.
Used the uncut subject image with Gaussian Blur
and a small erased spot on the middle of the duck so
the plugin would run with no error and
ran without any borders (just would have been around
the outside edge and the small hole anyway )
moved the subject outcome to the duck image and
duplicated the smokey border to taste.

Here is a moth that turned out nice (imo)...
With a 'display case' border from G'mic Frames

I like a lot the Cat, Pat.
IMHO for the Tree there is some set-up not well appropriate (animicule could evaluate it better): the sky doesn't look good (personal opinion).

Thank you PhotoMaster and Dinasset.

Dinasset, I'm glad you like the cat. On the last one I did not really care for the sky outcome. Should have masked it off so not affected.

On the sky in the tree, I can't tell if you tried using a different pad color without first setting alpha to selection on
the single layer then inverting the selection and cutting it from a black pad, then merging the single layer down onto
the black pad. Then you can use a different background color on that layer. It is normal stuff when working
in a lot of screen mode layers.. you can repeat the steps for any other layers also.
But sometimes it just looks like that. If it is only slight you can increase the opacity of the top stack layer.
(the subject with rain merge or hard light at 50%. It will some time darken it enough. Or just cut it out and put in a
new background, or just leave the background cut out and use some spiderpaint backgrounds.

Here are a couple examples. I like to use the 'smokey' borders so I move those layers also.

This one is very very good !
I can't say the same of your last ones, before this one.
I know you like experimenting, so -maybe- you may like opinions also on those.

Dinasset,
I set the process size much higher than my normal taste on the carousel donkey.
and somewhat higher on the café jukebox.
You receive a 'tighter' web. It does bring out some details,
but I think when too tight even with the small details they look odd, maybe
too sharp...
Thank you for the feedback!
