Help with correcting white balance

GIMP Version: 2.8.14
Operating System: Windows
GIMP Experience: New User

Hi there!

I am trying to correct a photo with GIMP.

I accidentally took the photo with Tungsten white balance setting and the whole photo seemed like it was taken under a blue light. As seen in the photo attached, the sky and the buildings were actually white at that moment.

I am wondering if there is any function on GIMP that could maybe normalise the colours?

I used my filter "WhiteBalanceStretch2":

I can't compete with Dinasset, as he is a Master in photography. But I wanted to do my try.

With curves you can do something like this:

It, is not perfect, but it's a suggestion.

With the "Colour Balance" function, you can also make a correction.

I will also do my best with G'MIC, (see links above). I will post later on.

I used GMIC tone enhance

on another I added a yellow overlay then used levels.

This script does the job properly, if you can identify something that should be white/gray in the picture

I installed the plug-in Whitebalancestretch2 and put it in my plug-in folder, but I can not find it anywhere!
Where can I found it??? I am using 2.8.20
