Well here goes my intro post....

Hi everyone, I have been lurking in the shadows kinda reluctant to say hello as I really do not have a habit of posting much.

I discovered Gimp some time around April last year, when I started getting into whole web/graphic design because of my own personal needs, which means I have been using Gimp for about a year. I am great at following tutorials but I am still sort of afraid to try and create something on my own.

A short bio: I come from Croatia, spent 3 years living in Florida, I enjoy reading, learning and doing web/graphic design, I'm somewhat withdrawn and extremely self-conscious.

Guess that about sums it up, so now I can go back to the shadows. :)

Wow, really didn't hope for that many replies in only 2 hours... Um... lemmie muster my courage and maybe I will post some of my outcomes. Thanks everyone for the warm welcome :)
