Skinnyhouse just had to try your py on my Mac and it worked beautifully. Look forward to playing around with it some more and using different paths. Oh and it does work well with the lyrics of Windmills of my Mind. One of my favorite tunes. This group of young ladies does a beautiful cover of the song.

Windmills of my Mind by All Angels

My first attempt.

Your text and image work really well together Dalia.
Glad to know it works on your platform.
I notice that you have a rogue rotation on one of your characters - the t of 'the' as in 'where the sun'. When this happens my usual dirty fix is to adjust the font size by a small amount - usually works.
I think I have fixed this but am still testing it to make sure. If successful it wil be added to the next version.

Have just edited the title of the thread - since many of the contributions are no longer circular.
Am ignoring the fact that it no longer works only with my own joined-up fonts - so have left that in the title.

Here is a new contribution to celebrate the edit.

Hi Dalia, I miss you in the forum but I'm sure you are doing a wonderful work.
Skinnyhouse, I have tried it but I get some inverted letters. Maybe I do something wrong. Thanks a lot.

Agreeing with Pat - beautiful - if a little bit dizzy to read. Could be an idea for a new thread.

You are not doing anything wrong - the filter does not like certain rotations along a path. I am testing a possible fix - it seems to produce better outcomes in terms of rotations. I was going to wait a while and possibly add some other changes but it would be very helpful if you could try it out with your source file for this image - if you still have it.

Anyway here is the zipped filter - just the filter - no font changes have been made.

Thanks in advance Issabella

Thanks you so much Pat and Skinnyhouse. :)

I've tried to redo it as I had already thrown it away. I see that this version is much better because the lettering is right and not inversions along. Besides, the paths used are rather complicated to follow and the script worked great, I think.
Thank you so much Skinnyhouse for your work and your nice scripts. :)

Thank you for that Issabella. It was always very annoying to find, after doing a long complex path, that one letter was wrong - eyes drawn to it like the proverbial sore thumb.

A new version is almost ready - final tests and tidy up.
Repeats now repeat the whole input.

Just trying out an idea to reverse text along a path like below - for using with text viewed say on a ring - where part appears the right way round and part is seeing the back of the text. Like some lettering on a crown perhaps.

That is really impressive, Skinnyhouse. On the ring (crown) with the beautiful gold and glow on the ring base, it is beautiful. It has the see through effect with the word backward. Love it!
