GIMP Version: 2.8.14
Operating System: Mac OS
OS Version: Latest & Greatest
GIMP Experience: Intermediate Level

List any relevant plug-ins or scripts:
New Script Fu Package

List any ERROR messages you received:
Beachball

Problem in heading, additional information; I just installed the Script Fu package found elsewhere through this incredible new site I just found....

Specifically, I used the Charcoal Script. It finished successfully, but then I had to Force Quit Script Fu.

You don't need to install any "Script-fu package" since this is built in all versions... what did you install exactly?

The problem is actually with Script Fu. I installed the scripts manually as per the instructions.

I have to Force Quite Script Fu, or just let it beachball, but I can't use any more scripts in GIMP.

Sorry for the confusion.

So, you installed some "Charcoal" script from some package and when you run it on an image, Gimp locks up?

1) Where can we download the package (URL?)
2) Did you try on a smaller image (up to 1600*x1000).
3) What is the size of the image you are processing?
4) When Gimp locks up, is there any abnormal CPU/Disk activity?

GIMP does NOT lockup. I misspoke, or mistyped, whatever.

Script Fu locks up, and I have to Force Quit. GIMP continues to run, but to get Script Fu back, I need to restart GIMP.

I'd prefer not to have to do that every time.
