Made this paisley from cobblestones and gave it a purple tinge to keep in Wallace's good books :)

Given Erisian's new paisley threads, thought I would make some fractal like paisleys too - in glass of course :

What he said! They're beautiful, OMG, real gems. Are you sliding into the fractal addiction now? It's a slippery slope, brother, you'll find you're making alien landscapes in mandelbulb 3D before you know it... :hehe

Here's my take on Erisian's fractal paisleys - I love that they are fractals but really look like paisley units, so I tried to enhance that as much as I could, and turn them into a seamless pattern at the same time.

Anmal and Erisian - thank you for your comments. I have always liked fractal styles and use JWildfire a bit, but I am trying now to make my own fractals in GIMP, using stroked paths and GMIC.

EDIT - here is my first attempt -

I must agree, OMG. Your work is stunning! AnMal, I really love the pattern you made seamless from a beautiful but complicated looking pattern. Erisian, keep making those beautiful fractals so AnMal can take them and make wonderful seamless designs!

Kimba, Erisian and Pat - Thank you for your kind comments.

Here is the 'GIMP home made' fractal I created for the glass paisley above. But somehow Anmal's influence seemed to permeate it ... ;)
