I need some help. I was trying to make a brush in grey scale with black and grey colors. I get an error message when trying to save it as a gimp brush (.gbr file). I have a few brushes made by someone else that have the same image qualities, etc. I will attach my brush I am working on, the error code, and the other brush I have in my brushes folder that is working. Thanks!!

Liana

If you want your brush to be black and gray regardless of the foreground color then you should convert the image to RGB mode before saving it.

If you want your brush to use the foreground then you need to flatten your image before saving it.

Saul I tried to flatten the image and it made a background I did not want. :( So I changed my brush image's grey and black colors and got the result I was aiming for. thanks!!
