Another useful script tim.
I followed a gimp-gap tut and made an image zoom-out from a central point. It would be interesting to apply this script to the last frame of a zoom sequence, adding more frames. ;)

Thanks Tas.
version 3 of script allows for coordinate (center of zoom) specification.

Here is a slightly different effect with the Multiple Zooms script.
I found out how to get the center coordinates and tried different settings. I also boosted the alpha channel which the animation player turns off if it's below a certain value in Gimp 2.88 and 2.10.

Not really a gif guy, but result looks awesome, Tran. Enjoyed the other renders too. :)

Tran, maybe you remember I asked this when you did the original zoom animation script?
Thank you so much :clap

Yes I vaguely remember a request for this.
And at the time I thought I thought it would be more complex because I was thinking complex (the first script did all manually and was more complex) but I guess the brain worked its way to a simple solution over time using simple loops and it turned out to be much simpler.

PS: I hope it's still useful for you even though it's like a year later.

Yes, very useful,
Have to play more, but I like the result when I change the default zoom and layer values from 7 & 3 to 3 & 7.
Seems to pulsate.

Looks like you found the centre coordinates. I use 'guides' to find the centre - a horizontal one at 50% and a vertical at 50%.
Put my cursor over the centre and the x and y values are in the lower left corner of the canvas.
