I downloaded your 2.10 version but in my 2.10.6 it throws an error as shown below. It also now appears in a new alpha to logo menu not script-fu/alpha to logo.

Have you checked for any duplicate scripts?

Wallace - yes; I deleted Graechan's previous version then replaced it with Nidhogg's version. I also checked the code re the menu location.

Okay,
sounds good.
This is probably a coding issue.

A bit different that Graechan's, but I do like it, Nidhogg; thanks for sharing. :)

Looks good.
Perhaps it's not a coding issue after all.

I get other different error message from OMG's. The filter doesn't produce any result and gives this message:
Can someone help?

Unfortunately Lyle. Looks like all the ones Graechan did for us will have to be done again :( Unless of course they work in 2.10, He lost them when Gimp Scripts went down.

Works fine in my 2.10.6

@OMG, the menu entries are original.
Went through the script this time and fixed your error, and Issabella's.
Should be okay now.

Seams to be more noticeable on large images, but when I run this script-fu, it produces a square region in the upper left quadrant. Not sure why. :)

Strange indeed. Might be because I enabled GPU or I need a larger memory setting in the configuration file. I'll try again. :)

It's indeed OpenCL that's the culprit. I wonder if there's a way to disable it for the script-fu or work with the setting enabled? Anyway, not sure how much I gain with it enabled so might disable it later. At least I now know. :)

I agree, OMG. Also discovered that you can turn on and off OpenCL without having to restart GIMP. I'll just do so when I need to. Again, thanks a heap for recreating this cool Script-fu, Nidhogg. :)
