GIMP Version: 2.8.14
Operating System: Windows
GIMP Experience: New User


Hi All,

I am new at this as was trying to follow a tutorial on youtube about doing 3d text, It was showing me to go to filters, choose Light and Shadow, then to click onto Long shadow? When I click on mine I do not have that option? I have attached a screen shot of what I have. I would greatly appreciate any help I can receive. :tyspin

Longshadow is a new feature in Gimp 2.10.6.

Get the latest version of Gimp from gimp.org.

.......Or you can use the 3-D Extrusion script in your current version of Gimp.
