Wallace, attached is a falling snow overlay with a blue screen background. See if your chroma-key filter can key it out. It works fine with Kdenlive's chroma-key filter. You may have to use a cross-fade transition on the overlay clips to get a smoother loop out of them.

I'll give your overlay a try.
Also,
I switched to using Davinci Resolve,
instead of Shotcut.
This should offer me more overlay options.

Thanks. :bigthup

Thanks Wallace and Racer for your preparation for the video. I can help in something, if you need it as I have my new computer working well now.

Thank you Issabella,

I believe it is all under control now,

As it stands.
We now have a video/slideshow,
that's a little over 3 minuets in length.
Keep posting any Christmas images,
that you would like to see added to the project.
I will make sure,
to inform everyone.
When to stop posting images for the video.
For now,
the end date is set for this coming Christmas Eve,
December 24th 2018.

Good luck with Davinci Resolve. Tried it once, too flaky for me. Don't forget my last contribution I made on post #38.

Thanks Racer. :bigthup

I'm only using Davinci Resolve,
for it's overlay features.

Got your "Gold Coil" file.
Thanks for the heads-up.

In the first zip file there's a video clip made with this Gimp card and animated snow made in Blender.

The blender animated snow looks a lot like the one I make with Aviutl. I've never tried doing it in blender, but I'm sure it's a lot more complicated to do. Nice card Ella...
