TBH I'm not using the "old" 2.8 filter which Issa, Pat and you have re-discovered, but a much simpler new mini-filter just created.

In Italy the date January 6th is called the "Befana" day.
Befana is like a SantaClaus but is a female: very old, flying thru the sky using a broom, bringing gifts for children, coming down into the houses thru the chimney and filling the empty socks left hanging around it by the children.

In general this mini photo-manipulation works at best with subjects with a lot of "hair", like animals, as you and Issa have demonstrated with your outcomes.

Dinasset, I did not know about "Befana". It sounds like a very sweet story and nice tradition for families. I was not awake for something like that. . . just not able to sleep sometimes.
