How to go from 2.4.2 to 2.4.5?

The same as any other Gimp the samj portable has a Gimp profile. Wherever you installed it, leading to....\Gimp-2.10.6_Portable-32bit-64bits\Preferences\

That contains a plug-ins folder for your plugins, which already has the gimc_gimp_qt folder. Move this out of the plug-ins folder to somewhere safe as a backup in case of mishaps. Then

Download the up-to-date gmic zip. https://gmic.eu/files/windows/gmic_gimp ... _win64.zip

Unpack the zip, put it in the ...\Gimp-2.10.6_Portable-32bit-64bits\Preferences\plug-ins folder.

rich0005,using this morning Samj Gimp portable, 32bits, to test Fractalius.8bf, I saw that the version of G'Mic is not the last.Pensant that it needed the 2.4.5 in 32 bits (?) I went on the download of G'Mic but he offers me the 64-bit version.

You have me using Windows more than since 2003 More testing with samj portable 2.10.8 32 V2 32bit

The 32 bit version of gmic_gimp_qt has not been updated since version 2.4.2, the same as the samj 32 bit version, so not possible to update it.

Note: PSPI only works with .8bf plugins and even then, not all of them.

The plugin Fractalius works very well and I made 2 projects this morning with him!

I was just wondering if it was necessary to update the 32 bit G'MIC but it is not important since I can go from 32 bits to 64 and vice versa!
