I support your request, MareroQ. Mainly because not only many members would be thankful to get Dinasset's plug-ins, but also many other people who visit the forum not being members. However, I understand that Dinasset can feel sad that not many people thank the job done with so much effort, researching and time invested in them.
Thank you MareroQ.

This is a "play" with lines structures: "lines_look".
From a procedural viewpoint is close to "aqua_look"
Here some outcomes.

I understand Your position [# 158]:
http://gimpchat.com/viewtopic.php?f=9&t=16920&start=150#p233335

1. works on 2.10 (this condition is met by you, as you stated on your first post)
2. is willing to share problems, comments, and above all generated outcomes on Gimp Chat (like Issabella, Pat, Ella … do regularly, as you can see)
3. send a PM on Gimp Chat to dinasset, specifying an e-mail address where to send the filter (and resources used if any).

Can You change Your decision and publish your great plugins - which should be public (GPL ?) directly on the Gimp Chat forum?
I will understand if You answer shortly NO - but I do not believe that now only: https://www.gimp-forum.net/Thread-Plays-with-Gimp.
Finché c’è vita c’è speranza.

Who supports my request? :hi5

Very likely my English is poor and very likely as well I'm not able to explain my viewpoint.
I'll try again.
In my (PERSONAL) opinion there are different kinds of sites for Gimp.
Let me consider only two:
1 - a "chat" site like GC where people exchange ideas
2 - a "repository" site like the (dead) "Latest Gimp Scripts and Plug-ins"
When posting on a site type 2, the author(s) publish their works for the open "readers" community.
When posting on a site type 1, the author(s) -at least me- would expect feedbacks (not thanks, feedbacks: i.e. comments, suggestions, outcomes produced with the downloaded filter(s); this will contribute to maintain the site alive.
Up to one year -or more- ago I posted my filters on GC, but then I was very disappointed in seeing something like one hundred downloads and one or two persons providing a feedback.
Hence I decided thereafter to send my filters only upon explicit request, to someone who is really interested in contributing to the "life" of GC.
I have to admit that this is a "poor" passport, because I sent already filters to (some) requestors, who did not maintain their promises to contribute, but … alas, that's all I was able to imagine in my poor mind.

Hope that my position is clear now.

I feel concerned by this post of Diego because I asked him, at the end of December, to use The Linelook
and I made a few attempts where I failed because I am still too beginner (level_0). It stressed me and I did not try again, for fear of failing again ... When we have a ski accident we do not hesitate to start again!

I'll go back when I feel like I can! Sorry Diego.

This is a difficult choice. I completely understand Dinasset's views. If you ask for a filter then you should try it. If having difficulty, then post that you are, what the problem is, and get help. Help goes along with trying the filter and being a member of this forum. Part of "belonging" to a forum is to try what you like, get help when you need it so you can improve, and then help others when it is time for that.
On the other hand, it would be much easier for all concerned to post the filter so members can get it at will. If it is done that way, give feedback to the author. As my Mother always said, "Remember your pleases and thank you."

For that, in what topic to ask for help for this filter, or do I have to open a new topic in the forum "Help"?

totally agree with you :)

I see that people usually ask for help in the thread that the script was posted. Members usually state what they like in the script, or have problems with understanding what to do. This way you get help to know how to use the script.

I post some of my results with the last of Dinasset's filter ha created named "Fantasy". I find the results very artistic with a nice painting effect very novelty.

Silly questions to explain what's blocking me to apply Diego's "lines look" filter
I leave an image and I apply the filter of Diego.Il then opens a project created by this filter.
And my problem is to know what I can or can not do ... as Diego expects ...
1) Do I have to work exclusively on this project?
2) Do I have to keep all layers created?
3) Can I modify them with G'Mic filters?
so crush them as I want ....

Level 10, Thanks :) I’m going to answer your questions as I can. However, Dinasset will be able to answer them much better than me.
I think that Diego wishes to see the results of all kind from all of us. If I’m not wrong, he continuously tries to improve each one of his filters. So it’s important for him to see the many results of all kind.
It's preferable to post the result of your try as it is without any addition. But too, you can do your variations and additions to your result, better if you say what your process has been after that.
You don’t have to keep the whole layers, only your last result. But too, you can close the eyes of some layers and see what each layer affects to the final result if you like.
Yes, you can modify your result with G'MIC, but it’s important to Dinasset to see your first result and then to say that addition you have done so that we all can see the possibilities to be added. Besides if who try his filters comment about the results much better.
I think and I’m sure that you will do wonderful results.

No condition for the size of the image?

Edit:
and can I edit an image before applying the filter (as it sounds interesting to me too)?

Issabella, I made several tests with the look lines but the results do not like me so I do not know if it's interesting to post them here.Image

Before Issabella beats me (because she was answering to your comments/questions many times already on my name -thanks Issa-), I reply to your last one directly:
- if you do not like them, do not post them
- this comment is already an evaluation, hence thanks for testing it
- only one doubt remains in my mind: you asked to get it, should I presume because you saw interesting results by other users?
so…

edit: could you post one of your source images?

edit2: by source I mean the image you used to start the filter, maybe I can find the reason why the filter did not create decent outcomes and amend it (for those who have it in their "baggage").
