Hi. I have downloaded the new GMIC version, but I'm not able to find this filter in GMIC menu. The name of the filter is ''stylize'' or it goes by any other name in the menu? Thanks.

If you ever have trouble finding a filter in GMIC type it in the search bar at the top and it may give you several options to choose from.

Sallyanne, as you surely know, I don't know about art and I let myself say what I like or don't. This last result isn't very nice IMHO. Perhaps isn't appropriate to use on people faces. Sorry.

Don’t be afraid to start over. It’s a new chance to rebuild what you want.

Thanks for your comment.
Shouldn't matter - she doesn't exist.
Might be different depending on what is used too as the stylize.
But you are allowed to have your opinion.

With this one I used a girl sitting in a cafe as a base, model for the custom top layer to stylize and arrived with lots of detail in the darker areas of the picture.

I have to agree with Issabella, and my comment could be...crude:
Monet would be turning in her grave.
And I know a bit about art.
Why not to use an appropriate reference image (a portrait of Monet)?
But, paraphrasing what you said to Issabella, you are allowed to post whatever outcome you get during your attempts...
