Pat, I like your results, especially the horse outcome is superb.

Nice one, Issabella.
My "fantasy" play combining:
- outcome of FPS11 as source
- inkpen 1
- inkpen 2 with changed colours and flipped
- grain merging all 3

Thinking to myself:
why there are so few GC members participating, having a so flexible tool like this tutorial?
Fantasy missing? I don't think so.
Where is OMG, for instance? He could add gold and crystal variations for instance…
And where are all those who "refuse" to install new plug-ins? here no new plug-in is needed, not even the old original by Eddy Verlinden (2007, juli) from where I derived the "suggestion" to Issa for her nice tutorial…

WiFi and data problems have kept me from using my laptop where my Gimp is. At least I have unlimited data on my phone so I can keep up on Gimp chat.

dinasset, I have not tried yet because:
1) the first outcomes showing a grid did not please me
2) the tutorial looked quickly seems complicated and not the time because
3) I have to send my PC back to Asus and take advantage of it to sort through my files.
4) I bought a new book on Gimp and I study it.
But I like the last pictures.

Issabella, the Femenino luminance outcome is very beautiful.
I take your tutorial as a guide and then do a bit of experimenting on the photo.
That's why I call it my plays

To do justice to the marvellous original creation of Ella, I post now an ink-pen process based on the original source, not "destroyed" by any of my FPS...

Even much better: setting the ink-pen outcome in Luminance mode over the source.
