I am making dollfaced images of some bollywood actresses but because I can't find original images in good resolution, the result really needs to be fake painted. I don't want a very heavy effect though, I was thinking of something like a combo of your 8 and 17. Here's an image:

Dinasset and Issabella - WOW, wow, WoW; no matter how I spell it it does not convey enough feeling. So many brilliant images above. Looks like I will need to stop painting portraits for a while and return to filter play.

Thought I would show what I wanted to make with those filtered images I got - I've used them in a few different ways, what I liked most was combining both images and then making a sort of paint splattered effect of them on a written background.

Nice final outcome.
