from 300 to 72 Dpi bug

Hi,
i recently downloaded gimp 2. 10.14 and I discovered that it saves my files as .jpg 72 dpi even if my .xcf file has a canvas size in 300 dpi. What's wrong? I use gimp everyday since 5 years and i've never had this issue before.

AFAIK the bug is not that the file is saved at 72DPI, but that the definition is reset to 72DPI when Gimp re-loads the file later. So you can reste the print definition after loading the file in Gimp.
