dinasset,I have the impression that there is less more noise and precisely I was going to ask you the question to attenuate the noise in the clear mosaics because I tried GMIC filters (denoise and despeckle) but without success.

Would you like to get something like this ? (same source used before)
variant of version 2

@Issabella:very nice outcomes

@dinasset: I prefer the first, the mosaics look like acidulous candy. ;)

OK.
Here the variant created for my French friend BB, which allows to select "clean tiles".
Anyone else who likes this look may download and use it (BTW, it's an option, so you can still get the rough look).

Thanks for your suggestion. I was too much considering my personal taste (I love the rough look) to think about this alternative.
Hope you got what you were expectant.

dinasset, you don't have to thank me, it's me who thanks you! :) I like this version and also the previous one, to use according to the image and according to the expected result! ;)

IDK.
Maybe your Gimp does require folder names without spaces in them?
Try using the folder name "diego_draw"

Lines are randomly selected by the filter from inside the available sets.
Did you download/activate all sets posted?

If you have enough different colour areas, you may increase the number to use.
Here a sample with 96 areas (just for demo, it's too much for this image...)
