GIMP Experience: Beginner Level



ok I'm trying to beef up my copy of gimp and I'm looking for good brushes that fit my style, i'm more into photo art, what do you think I should start with. i found some things in the resource thread i'm looking for personal suggestions thanks a lot

The best way to find them is to just Google or search brushes for the particular type you would like. :)

GIMP can also use Photoshop brushes.

thanks i've found alot of great stuff so far!

does anyone know how i can create mountains and roads in gimp! i couldn't find any brushes that do it

Check out the Cartographer's Guild.

They have many great GIMP tutorials on map making in the Tutorials forum. You'll probably need to join to see the attachments/diagrams in the forums. There are mountain brushes in the Resources forum.
