A few examples a bit off topic - because all created by plugins (I tried to collect all of them a long time ago - I ended the game at 130 :hehe

) - but it could be some kind of inspiration - or some script restoration to Gimp-2.10.20 (please indicate which effect in a separate thread - and I can try to fix it even though I don't like * .scm scripts :yes

WOW ... not sure I should post now after all those amazing text effects that MareroQ has posted, but I will given there are some simple BRL effects that can be used alone or in combination.

Firstly just a standard BRL with a wood e-map.

Then using the same selection, but choosing the 'outline inner bevel' option under Contour. I emphasised the Contour Depth and Edge Smoothing values for this one.

These options can be combined by placing the wooden layer on top of an outline layer.

Or you can place the wooden layer below the outline layer.

The font is Alamak, originally got it from Issabella, but have posted it below for you.

Use to use mostly the antique metal logo, I also like reflex and black gold - black gold only ever worked a few times for me though.

Yes, they kind of look familiar. By the wat, your text are nice sallyanne! I like the Gold text. :bigthup

Ps If you have Windows, the Black Gold logo work. I just tested in GIMP 2.10.20, just make sure you have the layerfx plugin.
