GMS I am sure you just missed this post, but I would suggest checking this post out, as it has the Parameters I used to get the Brown and Redish colored one

thanks a bunch. I may be forced to use my Windows JUST for this program.....anyway, I see there is a portable version and I have just asked my favorite portable group (http://portableapps.com/) to see if anyone will package the fractal program in this way so I can not only ensure it's portable but make it easy for me to control it.

When I get a free moment (HA!) and can play with this I'll be sure to come back and ask for help.....this program looks spectacular! :clap

GMS aw I am so sorry! Apophysis takes a while to learn!
If you have a DeviantArt, I would suggest stopping by in The Aposhack there you can pick out some fractals you like, and someone will hopefully be able to link you to a tutorial for how to make them

or you can just ask questions or get comments on your fractals, or take part in one of our Pongs! Where the parameters fly and everyone is tweaking!

that's ok. I don't feel like a cabbage head because i can make good ones with other apps. I have a DA account and go there periodically. I'll check out aposhack, i've never heard of thatbefore. thanks.
