With regard to the Custom Font Tools documentation:

Most of this is on GimpLearn (since the site there allows you to add lots more (and larger) attachments).

There is a guide included in all the recent releases of Custom Font Tools that has (GimpLearn) links to the help pages for most of the tools.

I am currently preparing a Quick-Start pack for new users to help interested folk take their first steps into Custom Fonting.

The reason I asked about the guides was because I downloaded the recent Custom Font Tools zip file from here and I thought a guide for each tool on how to use them would be useful.

I actually thought that was what the guide was going to be initially, but it became obvious that it would be a humongous tome when every plug-in was included; so I opted for the overview with links. You never know - perhaps if I find enough time in the next lockdown.

Yes. I have the updated one. Both scripts work for me, same setup.

How does the script work? It doesn't do anything for me even if I have an image with alpha channel. What is the finished result supposed to look like?

lets say you scan 5 or 6 pictures on your scanner, and you want to cut each image out individually. You run this script (ignore gih checkbox and settings below, those are for making gih brushes) and it will cut out each image and create layers of each.

Since I have been adding Custom Font Quick Guides lately I thought that I would post a custom font here - instead of over on the dark side (i.e. GimpLearn ). Most zipped files are too large to post here - being over the 6 Mb limit. This one is capital letters only and is well below that limit. The zipped folder includes a thumbnail of the custom font to help identify it in your folders.
