Is there a tutorial for a similar animation brush .. how do you get the rotated effect?

I recently did something similar here:
viewtopic.php?f=11&t=18573&p=255861#p255861

It can be done with an animated (.gih) brush, but probably better using a static (.gbr) brush and dynamics

I have created a small demo. Included in the zip file:
brush (TwistedRope.gbr – put it in the brush folder of your profile)
dynamic (TwistedRope.gdyn – put in the dynamics folder of your profile)

Dynamics are easy to make, but I have included it for the demo.

Have a good look at the settings in the attached image.

Blighty II, I really liked the brush, thanks for sharing it.

The previous image was made in the triangular wave mode.
This, following the orientation correctly, was done in Sawtooth wave mode

The actual brush you show was one I made using four color circles and rotating each one 10 degrees for 360 degrees using the Mura Meister script.

Mahvin, I saw it was your edit. But I couldn't figure it out with Mura meister ... It's clear to me this way.

This "Twisted Rope" dynamics makes interesting effects with various brushes.

Racer-x, it reminded me of an edit I made when testing Skinnyhouse's Path Scale copy rotate Shift Walk for Gimp. Although different, your image reminded me of this https://gimplearn.net/viewtopic.php?p=32156#p32156 .
A good idea to try other brushes using TwistedRope Dynamics! I'll try it.

Following mahvin's tip I ended up creating a gih version using the Mura Meister script. It has the advantage that I don't need to memorize the Dynamic brush settings (Fade lenght, sawtooth wave, spacing, dynamic used, etc.).
But I keep both brushes, although they are similar they are not identical.
