This started life as a doodle in the 70's, coloured with felt-tip in the 90's, enhanced in Gimp 2020...

I really like that. I have always liked psychedelic art and bits of that look like a 3D fractal.

Thanks for sharing. Quite a connection. Whatever the original intentions, at this stage in its evolution it looks to me like it might be an instant from a John Coltrane recording. A burst of magic where something visual suddenly turns into sound. I seem to have been listening to it for several minutes now and I wish I could play what it sounds like.

It's one of those pieces where I find myself continually seeing different things - pathways, portals, planets, chequered flags - it's an image that keeps on giving .
