Butterflies

Not much work in Gimp itself as the source material was nice...

These photos at most received a slight s-curve adjustment, a slight saturation boost and cropping.

It was an overcast day, the lighting was great, and I was trying out my new telephoto lens.

No, not my finger, as I don;t think I could use by dSLR with a telephoto lens and take a picture of my own finger

Only if you had a super long arm and steady button finger. Nice picture, RobA. Do you know what kind of butterfly it is?

That must be some nice camera! The butterfly is amazing, and the finger hair at the bottom left looks like a piece of hay

That's lovely RobA. I'm wondering where its fourth leg is. Maybe hitched up and cleaning its wing or perhaps just behind the wings?

RobA thanks for the inspiration, seeing this image pushed me to finally get out the camera and try and take some pics of my own.
