Hi, Everyone. I just wanted to drop in and say a quick "Hello" to all who keep GC going. I've been writing a novel I've had planned for quite some time and that is occupying all of my free time but I am happy to see the site is alive and well after the state it was in as of my last visit.

Happy Gimping.

I'm not convinced one or two left mouse clicks actually constitutes 'dropping in'?

Maybe you could drop in a bit more and tell us what your novel is about, why it's not non-fiction and how it will or won't change the world?

If I said what the novel is about it would violate the rules of this site. It is non-fiction. And it will not change the world. Hopefully, it helps some people by at least letting them know they are not the only people who have gone through the trials and tribulations enumerated. Life is challenging for everyone. No amount of money or fame saves people from whatever forces control the universe. Or from their own personal demons. That's about as much as I can say here.

Thanks Mike, I hope you finish it easily.
I guess it's autobiographical but written anonymously.
"Life is challenging for everyone" I agree with that. It's almost what separates the wheat from the chaff in human affairs.

Gimp Chat's site policy is interesting - it ensures only about 10% of a person's actual personality shows up here. But that's OK because I can see how the other 90% would do a lot of damage. In other words most people are sitting ducks psychologically. Overcoming personal challenges makes you strong and managing strength is a hard lesson in life.
