Very glad you like the filter (manual execution following tutorials is certainly more flexible, but as you said, it takes time).

A tip; you can flip frame layer in horizontal or vertical position. Also you can set opacity to the personal liking.

Mémoires d'antan ...
When I was a boy my father gave me a watercolor box (of tubes) and I started painting with those.
My first painting was a lake landscape (made with the help of my father who told me how to ignore details).
My last painting was a reproduction in watercolours of a Renoir painting, having in front a print of the original oil; made "alla prima" (in the original Italian sense, =without making any correction, in one single session, I know that outside Italy the expression means "wet over wet", which is slightly different).
Later on I switched to oil painting to have the possibility to correct my strokes; never went to a school, and I didn't know how to correct watercolour paintings...(enough stupid, isnt'it?).
Since many years no more activities in painting (eyes and hands are no more good enough for that).

Lula, did you ever restart some painting activities?

My life was very strongly disrupted in 2005 and I stopped all my non-virtual creative activities... gardening, painting, beading, cutting, music, in short : a tsunami would not have done better to annihilate me.
Montréal reconciled me with nature and people and I regained a taste for it thanks to my walks in the botanical garden and along the St Lawrence River. Montreal is rich in parks and green zones
Then came the computer and curious by nature I became interested (in excess) in the virtual image and graphics software to the detriment of my sight !

I kept my brushes and my watercolors and I just gave this afternoon to my oldest grandchild (18 years) my best books on watercolor and drawing.
Maybe one day I'll paint again !

I'm deeply touched by knowing about your dramatic event in 2005. You had to rebuild your life, your soul, your feeling, day by day with an incredible intimate strength.
Hope you reached now an acceptable equilibrium and people and things around you can create a favourable atmosphere where to live and look forward in a "full immersion" of Love and Hope.
If I may, I like to hug you, in silence and deep sweetness.
