Issabella,
Depth = -5 is hard +5 is soft.
The texture is for large images. If you want to apply it on small images, you have to reduce the dimension of the texture and put it also in you Gimp textures.
You find the script in #215

I see on your capture "Plug-in" Texturizer.
Did you put the script in the plug-in folder?

Diego and Ella, your outcomes are very beautifull.
I like the texture very much Ella, zacht zoals katoenpapier !

No lula, I put it in my scripts folder because it is an scm-file.
Ik vind de papiertextuur ook mooi. Inderdaad, net zo zacht als katoenpapier

At first I had to close my gimp several times because the script was unresponsive. Now it seems OK and I don't have troubles anymore.

If you create a layer with the texture in modus "multiply" it will be wise to put the opacity to 65%. Test it and you will see that it is softer.

Your creation is a bit softer than the first version which seemed just a bit greyer by the texture. (it's subtile)
Did you also restart your PC Ella ?
There must be a reason it doesn't work and unfortunately I cann't resolt it.

My Good Morning show you the results of having modified my filter by:
- reducing the impact (opacity) of ageing texture
- adding a "paper texture" (excellent idea by Lula, now followed by Ella and Issabella)
The paper I use is a Fabriano paper.
