I try to go thru the tutorials for a few reasons.
One is that i am quite the novice and want to see the steps.
Second is that i can turn on/off different layers, try experiments at any point during the tutorial process.
And most important reason is that i go thru the tutorials is that you made the effort to write them - i fell the need to respect you and your work on the tutorials.
i also find it interesting that the results from the tutorial are often different from the script.

leftyleo, I am happy you follow the tutorials. You are right with they one can change layers, play with opacities and layer modes. Each image needs a different treatment. But it is true too that Dinasset makes his best to get the nice balance in his filters to be applied to each different image with the best results. Also it is nice that after running the filter the artist can do changes, too. So they are really interesting letting the user apply his/her own steps.
I like your results a lot.
