Hi Racer-x.
Dragons are my favorite topic - and I liked your result very much. :bigthup

If it is not laborious - can you include a mini-guide? :cofscreen

I guess I could figure it out myself, but why kick an open door? :hehe

It's pretty simple. You'll need BRL, LayerFX and Extrude3d. I'm attaching my custom emap and dragon scale pattern, along with a screen capture tut.

Thank You Very Much.

This was my first reworked tutorial.
Everything is quick and clear - when you know HOW. :bigthup

Yeah, it's all good. I don't mind sharing what I've done as long as it's recent. Old things are tough because I've already forgotten them (old age sucks) and I'm not in the mood to revisit....

Nice work racer-x and I really like your dragon scale pattern.

Had a go at this tutorial https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=prsdDtXxkRE

Racer-X : Thanks for your tut in post 529 -- i learned a few things along the way
for example the layer 'effects' overlay vs layer 'mode' overlay - two very different animals
-and the layer effects overlay's zoom and preview.

If i wanted to do this i was scaling/resizing and cutting out a piece of some pattern image
and putting it beneath. Manual methods can be fine but it is good to learn the better ways
of doing things
