A slightly different version (because I used one without the very slight highlight on the front of the face).

I used a font called "pocketball" and some inspiration form Skinnyhouse's "Spotty" text effect.

I wasn't trying to replicate Racer's excellent blown glass text effect but I accidentally stumbled on a different translucent effect whilst working on another custom font:

And it made a pleasant multiple perspex sheet effect when given some 3D treatment.
