@Rod, of course. I had originally uploaded the TechnoPCB font to Zippyshare because the .xcf is +9MB.
Got it under 6MB using 7-zip, and also saving the .xcf in 2.10 using compression,
but I'm getting 408 timeout in my work machine, so I'm using again Zippyshare.
Will try attachment later.

I know that Tim is far too shy to blow his own trumpet but there is a substantial number of custom fonts on GimpLearn where the individual filesize limit is a generous 20Mb.

Mackenzieh, try this script of Tin Tran to change your .xcf custom fonts to work in 2.8 if made in 2.10 or to 2.10 from 2.8.

All my old XCF font files i created in GIMP-2.8 seem to work fine for me in GIMP-2.10.8. I didn't need Tin Tran's script to make them work.

I just checked my custom font file and i was amazed to find 539 Custom Font Files there. WOW!
Time to BUMP this thread to get some more creative juices flowing. :bump

Here's a recent Runic style one that has a filesize of 15.3 mb.
Using 7-zip it can be compressed to under 3 mb - apart from te fact that GimpChat doesn't allow 7-zips.
So here is a zipped - 7-zip at 4 mb.
(No idea if it will work when decompressed!)

And 541 Custom Fonts it IS!

This is exactly why i put my custom fonts HERE! https://sourceforge.net/projects/rods-c ... -xcf-files. So we could share our HUGE files with each other.

No way is Omega going to host BIG files.So we need to work with each other using other domains such as SourceForge.

Yes totally agree with you Rod; that's one of the reasons why I use GimpLearn.
My most recent is a raw 24 Mb - and roughly half that size when compressed with 7-Zip - mainly due to the number of characters generously added by the original font creator as shown in the custom font thumbnail I used:

But I think that I will make a mental note to upload the smaller sized custom fonts here as well in order to keep bumping this thread.
