Used G'MIC's Shapeism with a contrasted version of the uprezed image and then did Transparancy to selection followed by selection to alpha to create the mask and then G'MIC's Blend Shape Average to colorize. Do this often since if you use Shapeism by itself, it loses some details. Secret sause I often use, Wallace. lol

Admit uprez (via vector techniques) the low rez image made for a not so good result. lol

Did do the lion below recently, but packed a bit too tight which Shapism (G'MIC) distorts the objects when doing so, so didn't post it here. Below's the link if interested. :)
