David, very good results, no easy in such photos. No all photos come in artline so nice. What do you do when the line is weak?
diagrajamal1, very interesting that outcome in colour.
Lyle, that painting technique is really nice.

@Issabella,
When the lines are not dark enough, try on the Burn layer to use Curves and move the black point (bottom, left-side) almost all the way to the right. You can add a blur to this same layer and then use Threshold to separate the light and the dark. Also slightly moving the black point of Curves on the Desat layer might help.

IMG_5770. Contrast mask on church doorway to try and show the doors and a little of the interior. I seem to be using contrast masks a lot recently. used on all three of these images. Also used Saturation H M L on all three.

I have tried to make a .GIF of this one (something I have not done for several years!), but I can't get the water to look as though it is flowing out of the pipe.

@teapot,

You have just the right balance between colour and the lines - I like it.

We are becoming addicted to Picture to Line Art. Should we blame Tim for making the original plug-in!!!! :hehe

You mean something like this? (ok it's not good, but I quickly made it :oops: )

Image

If so, I did use for the example above
G'MIC > Deformations > Morph [Interactive]

Duplicate the layer, select the top one, then G'MIC

Image

EDIT: I found a tuto over there https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=iXG5x7ilDlU (too long for what it is, but good enough)

@PixLab,

Many thanks.

I will have to watch the video in full and then have a try. (A quick look at the video suggests that I will definitely become older while watching it!)

Edit: Now I know that I need to use G'MIC Morph, I have found this in Pixls.us. Much quicker and with the last entry by you!
