Lyle, Loving the painting look of your Dining.jpg.

Thank you for your replies.

FotoSketcher looks very interesting. I'd try it but unfortunately don't have access to Windows ATM.

In searching for Redfield Finetouch I was impressed to see google's second link was to a post by you on dpreview :kpix

Found a PSPI tutorial link too, I didn't realise it was possible to run some photoshop plugins in gimp, although that looks to be for windows also.

Maybe you can get it to run via Wine. I know, when I use to toy with Ubuntu (in Virtualbox), I got Irfanview to work in Ubuntu.

No FotoSketcher this time; just Finetouch and some G'MIC tricks.

Lyle, so nice effect you did. :hi5

The following photos come from a short travel I did in the Mediterranean Sea. From Mallorca to Italy.

A blending of FotoSketcher Pen & Ink Sketch 1 and India Ink Basketweave. Why? Because I can not sleep. lol

Going to try to hit the hay (since I have to go to work in a few more hours).
